Through the Harris County Small Business Support Program, ROADS offers up to 30 hours of free technical assistance tailored to the needs of each business. Additionally, we help businesses with certifications such as HUB and M/WBE, procurement readiness, business planning, technology tools, legal compliance, and human resources support including hiring materials and outreach. Led by the Economic Development Industrial Corporation (EDIC/Lynn) and Roads Consulting Group, this program offers a 12-week business incubator course designed for residents impacted by the justice system. Participants receive comprehensive training in business planning, legal compliance, and marketing strategies. The program, backed by a $900,000 grant over three years, provides a $1500 stipend upon completion, incentivizing entrepreneurial endeavors. TCTX Thrived 3.0 SBSP is a collaborative program created in partnership between Travis County, People Fund, and Roads Consulting Group. Interise is a program that helps teach business skills to entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds. It does this by providing them with a platform where they can learn from Roads, a company that specializes in teaching business skills. The program lasts for 9 months and covers topics such as accounting, human resources, operations, marketing, sales, and taxation. The program has been highly successful and has been adopted by other organizations as a teaching model.
